STYLE "Anna has the clothes that most girls wear today. I know I used to buy her tons of dresses, and now she's actually getting back into them once in awhile for some reason. She likes to experiment slightly, especially with her photography and singing, but that's pretty much it. She isn't one to venture out too far with her clothing. I rarely ever see her hair up in a ponytail unless she's determined to get something done or was training when she was younger. I haven't ever seen her wear jeans more than three days in a row, so it's probably easy to say Anna keeps up with today's fashion." - Anna's biological mother
"I do like to see what I can wear and feel comfortable in. Though I do tend to pick the clothes that will either make it easy for me to use my power to hide my wings or to hide them like under a shirt or a jacket without my power - thank goodness they're retractable. But yeah, I like my naturally wavy hair so I toy with that a lot - lately I've been tempted to chop it off though, so we'll see how that goes." - Anna

PERSONALITY Sophia takes everything at face value - or at least a lot of it. She likes to be able to get things done and done on schedule. Having been "groomed" all her life to be an independent thinker, Sophia isn't one to really judge people. She likes to be able to go ahead and just make sure things are going ok in her life. She doesn't like to judge people as she knows that judging a book by its cover will only get one so far in life. People tend to do that around here, and she goes with that and goes with the flow. She loves being able to go with the flow and not bring up a fuss over every little thing. Course if it comes to something she believes in, such as being against animal cruelty, or violence, she will put her feet down and not budge. She's got a "quiet stubborn" aura about her, and it only shows itself when someone she may be speaking with starts to voice their own opinions, and then start to ask her for her own. That's when her own little beliefs will pop up - especially since she prefers not to ever talk religion or politics with people for one, she doesn't care much about politics - at least national ones - and secondly, she would much prefer not to have to worry about it and just go with her life and where it's taking her.
She accredits her laid-back attitude towards her wings now due to the fact that she's now on her own and doesn't need to worry about her parents breathing down her neck every time she left her room to go to the bathroom or to have to get trained that day. Sophia enjoys the simple things in life such as a good book, a long, nice walk or just being able to get herself up above the city and let the wind rush through her feathers. Sophia though isn't really one to approach someone outright and have a conversation with them, so if you did want to speak with her, you'd have to initiate the conversation. But once she gets comfortable enough after a few with someone, she'll open up and become the fun-loving, outgoing and sweet girl she is when she isn't quiet and just...getting by, keeping her nose out of places it shouldn't be.

HISTORY Ryan met Whitney when the two of them were both graduate students at UCLA and Whitney at USC. They didn't care about the stupid rivalry and saw each other, Whitney was reknowned for her skills with genetics and testing, while Ryan was training to become a biochemical engineer. The duo fell in love and when they were married in San Diego when they were 27 and Ryan 29, about a year later, after Whitney had been employed by the government, Whitney fell pregnant with their first and last child. She was thrilled, and by this time she still wasn't aware that Ryan harbored a secret - the secret of his power. He could fly (without wings of course), as well as have super strength, this of course wasn't shown till he was driving with Whitney, who was at that time about 7 months pregnant with Sophia they had decided to name her, their car was hit by a truck in San Diego, the teenager had been texting and even had a friend in the car. Their car shot off the side of the road, and rolled, Ryan throwing his arms around Whitney to protect her as best as he could from the shattering glass and with her arms around herself to protect their child. The young couple did emerge, but Whitney had been pinned, one of her legs pinned under the dashboard, and Ryan wasn't about to wait for 911 to show up as someone had been driving behind them and was calling. Quickly, he reached inside, and though Whitney was mildly blurry-visioned, she witnessed her husband somehow manage to shove the dashboard off her, freeing her legs and him picking her up, carrying her back up to the side of the road.
Ryan, horribly angry with the driver and the kids, he knew they were okay and left them while he made sure that Whitney was all right. She didn't tell him what she saw, that is till after Sophia Anna was born. Whitney called him out on it, with Sophia in his arms, having been feeding the 9-month old bright blonde-haired child in his arms. Horrified, Ryan then admitted it. He had the powers, he had had them since he was born, and he knew that his daughter would most likely be a gifted as well. Whitney, her logical side told her to take him in to her work, do tests, but her other side told her no, that he was her husband and the father of her child. They did raise Sophia together till she was about two, when they moved from Los Angeles, having moved there after Sophia was born, and then split. Sophia moved here with her mother to Belmont Bay when she was three, and Ryan stayed in Los Angeles with his job, the two calling it an end when Whitney was just 30 with her young child. Getting an apartment she placed Sophia in daycare for awhile, till she was introduced to the gifted here in Belmont Bay, and she was given access to be able to toy with genetics. Her dream come true. After working here about a month, she then met Joe. He was a Surrogate they called him, and soon they began dating, and when they had been together for about 6 months, Whitney finally introduced him to the 4-year-old Sophia. They noticed the young girl, at this age Sophia was able to react much faster than children her age, that she could react better to when someone said something or something happened.
That's when Whitney wanted to test her daughter's reaction time, and with Joe nearby, she then placed Sophia on a chair, and told her to look at the camera in front of her. The eager-to-please young girl nodded, grinning happily at her mom and this new man who treated her nicely, as Joe then shot a gun far enough not to hurt her ear drums. Instantly, the girl flinched. Whitney ran the high-speed camera, and was impressed. Her daughter flinched it seemed right when the gun pin had hit the bullet, causing the first initial sound out of the gun, then the pop from the bullet. Whitney noted this and soon, Joe began a part of both of their lives. Sophia didn't mind it, she liked her mom and her "dad" together, living happily. Though when the girl turned 7 things started to change and not for the best. They had moved out of their apartment and into a small house, with Whitney and Joe living together, Sophia continued to go to school and soon Whitney got Sophia a dog for when the girl came home so she wouldn't be alone for the hour or so before her parents got home. Named Rex, the big dog kept an eye on the blonde girl, but then Joe came home and told her they were going on a trip somewhere. Eager, Sophia happily followed him - to the research facility. There, Joe set the girl up on a bench and asked her to hold out her arm, they wanted to take her blood, make sure she was all healthy. Sophia having never been a big fan of needles cried and held her arms close. When Joe reached out to grab her arm to go find her mother, immediately an invisible force slammed into him, throwing him against the door, causing the glass his arm had hit to shatter. Wide-eyed, Sophia scrambled over to the guy she'd become to think of as a father, and he only looked at her with shock, before calling someone, and some men in white coats approached her.
Sophia only wanted to go home, to see her mom. Whitney though, wasn't aware of this at the time, as Joe knew she'd never let her daughter become an experiment, a toy for them when she was only 7 years old. The men offered her a sucker, and taking it, Sophia watched them carefully, warily before asking Joe if he was all right. Saying he was, as someone fixed him up, a man approached her, this man's face she'll never forget. With the beady eyes behind the glasses, he asked her if she liked animals. Agreeing, the blonde then followed him shortly into a room where they smooth talked her into taking her blood and then giving it to her mother under a different name - to see about enticing the woman to give this gifted an ability on top of the one they already had. Eager to pick apart this gifted's DNA, Whitney was oblivious to the fact it had been her own daughter's blood sample she was messing with. Joe was then promised to remain quiet about this, and that he would need to bring back Sophia when she was a little older so the gift could grow with her - when she was about 10 or 11. Sophia ran to Joe and hugged him, and from where he enrolled her into a karate class and gymnastics to get her intelligence increased as well as to train her how to defend herself.
By the time she was 10 she had a grasp on the super reflexes, enabling her to do pretty well for a younger girl in gymnastics, including karate. Joe gave her puzzles and little tricks every day, to train the young girl for a lot of her childhood and teenage years to think through problems, training her to be a good weapon later on if they decided to call upon her. Whitney helped her daughter with her force field generation to make sure it wouldn't hurt anyone while she was at school or perhaps training with someone. Whitney doted on her daughter when she wasn't working, since Joe worked part-time and made a good amount of money, but this allowed him to remain with Sophia a lot of the time and keep her on track for what he wanted. Then when she was about to turn 11, they took her back in. Sophia cried, calling for her mom, as Whitney had gotten multiple gifteds' DNA to accept new powers. She had given the blood of her own daughter, her daughter wings, the ability to fly as that power went the best. Sophia remembers waking up once in awhile with horrible pain all over her body, and she didn't remember much after Joe gave her a shot, supposedly a booster. The 10 going on 11-year-old wasn't aware of the painful process her body was going through for days. She didn't know what happened with her mom, freaking out about her daughter and when she discovered she had done this to her daughter, she hit Joe, calling him a monster for doing this to her, for letting the government do this to her. She loved her work, but loved her daughter more, and she witnessed her daughter on her back, with machines all around her.
Sophia woke up, though she had no idea where she was, and she freaked, reaching up to find out what was on her face. It was just helping give her oxygen, but to find that her hands had been restrained. Needless to say, she woke up about twelve times for the week and a few days she had been away from the world, undergoing this...change. Coming to, Joe and a horrified Whitney were waiting for her, and the best part was a few days later when Sophia felt a searing pain through her torso, and within a month of getting out of the government's hands, she had small wings on her back, that grew half an inch daily. She was in constant pain for awhile, but she had to go to school, had to keep training, ignore the pain, stay with her father and train, stay with her mother and be a partially normal child. By the time she was 14 her wings had fully grown, but would grow with her as she got older. Sophia had been taught how to fly too, teaching herself when she escaped from her parents for awhile. Joe took her back to the scientists once a year till she was 17 and graduated high school as a younger senior due to her birthday. The blonde kept her wings hidden, the powerful white wings on her back hidden from the world, refusing to let others see them.
It was when she was 17 and just out of high school things happened. She had been at a party, and with her retractable wings, she could wear a covering dress and get away with it. Her boyfriend of about a year wouldn't have any of that, claiming she never let him get any farther than first base. Oh, if only he knew why. He came at Sophia at the party, buzzed and claimed to her that he adored her, loved her and wanted to marry her when she turned 18. Luke, his name was, then proceeded to drag her upstairs, and Sophia allowed him, though when he attempted to force himself onto her, she freaked, fighting him off with her training from most of her childhood till she was 16, but when he managed to tear apart her dress slightly, that's when he spotted her wings. Shocked, Luke stopped and looked at her wings, before Sophia smacked him and jumped out the window. Needless to say, Luke forgot all about her. Joe had sent a gifted to make sure Luke never threatened Sophia's well-being, turns out. Going to her mom for support, Sophia continued to just work, and work with her father while her mother was away, and when she got accepted to the wonderful university in Belmont Bay. Sophia immediately moved out and with her she took Grace and Hera with her, getting the three birds after she moved into her apartment.
Now though, Sophia does occasionally talk to Joe and Whitney, her mom and dad, though she does stay training with her gymnastics and karate, she refuses to go in for the yearly check-ups with the facility. She refuses to be a part of them anymore, she's her own person now and refuses to become involved if she can help it.

Jude, in his mind was not only interesting and keeping his attention, but she was also quite....or at least a thought he got was that she could be quite eccentric if she wanted or needed to be. Yes, that definitely seemed to suit her. Get involved with everything, but yet still have respect. He liked that. Plus not to mention - though he wouldn't admit it - she was downright adorable. Or beautiful, he'd call her pretty to her face, since that didn't seem as "strong" as beautiful or adorable did. All three of those he figured too that girls probably wouldn't mind being called. Well - as far as he knew, and he was moderately decent when it came to girls, he was no awkwardness, but he certainly just didn't want to sit idly by and let someone he thought was pretty go by. Jude for example, had been perfect, she approached him. Which was better, as he tended to just....stray a lot when it came to girls once in awhile, usually finding an excuse to dismiss himself and not talk to one. For some reason though, as Drew thought about it, he knew he would have found a reason to talk to Jude if she hadn't spoken to him first. Well, plus if he ever saw her for more than just a bump which was what had happened. Kudos to her for coming up to him. Another thing he liked, when a girl would take control for herself once in awhile, instead of just lying idly by, he liked it when they would take care of what had to be if they couldn't get help. Granted Drew would be more than happy 98% of the time to help anyone, anywhere, anytime, but the other 2% were the ones, men included, who just took advantage of the kindness of others. Jude didn't seem to do that, which - he respected deeply for. His own internal musings and thoughts were placed on hold the moment Jude started giggling. Wait, had he done something stupid or funny? Quickly running through the last few moments, the only thing he could come up with was that possibly him apologizing? Probably. Giving an uneasy, yet fun grin in response to her giggling, Drew found that he wouldn't have been able to resist smiling.
Her laugh had been cute. It was..contagious needless to say. Upon hearing her speak, and then poke his arm, suddenly making the spot where she had poked his arm burn slightly, Drew nodded solemnly, grinning boyishly. "Wonderful, I feel special." he chuckled lightly, running one hand through his hair, "Course if you do begin to walk any differently, I'm going to have to put you right back here." he grinned into the playful threat. He continued walking, though slowed his pace so that Jude could easily keep up, but the girl didn't seem to have too much of a problem keeping up. Refreshing, though he understood. Being taller most of his life lead to him learning how to work with the people who happened to be shorter. Tilting his head slightly, Drew then looked to Jude quietly. Most of the time he wasn't one to push on through an entire conversation with someone, mainly because he found humans boring, and right now though, he could tell Jude was human, but there seemed to be something else, something else that told him to keep an eye on her. It didn't feel sinister just that he should get to know this girl more, what made Jude, Jude. Grinning at her response, Drew nodded, "Yeah...'cept for when your sister blares his music at four in the morning when your seventeen after getting home from his concert." he shook his head slightly, "I crashed, somehow she managed to stay up." he grinned at the memory. Course that was before he became a college student and graduated, therefore he was prone to all-nighters for finals and such.
"Do you go to college around here or something?" he asked, wondering if he may have even been with her in college, certainly not the same class, but college nonetheless. The college here was just like any other private college, good if you got in, a little pricey, but that was the private one, and then a public, community one nearby too. Therefore offering the best of both worlds in his opinion. Eying the brunette as she seemed to catch the tone he had slightly missed, but managed to catch, Drew grinned, "Don't worry, Jude..I get it." he reassured her lightly. Course after a few moments, like a roller coaster, Jude was bouncy and commenting, inviting herself along for the day. Wonderful, he thought, a broad grin melting along his features. He wouldn't mind that at all, being able to talk with Jude for most of the day. Drew nodded "Excellent, I hope I don't bore you." he shrugged lightly, giving her a gentle look, also meaning he pretty much meant it. The only thing really exciting in his life was that he could not only harness magic, but could shift into a Maned Wolf as well. Yeah, like he was going to tell Jude that right now. Please. Looking to Jude curiously, Drew spoke, "So then Jude, how long have you been here?" There, simple get-to-know you questions. Besides though, he certainly wasn't afraid to get to know her. "I was about to stop by this...place to drop something off, then would you want to grab something to eat or drink afterwards?" he inquired, gesturing towards a nearby café, "They have some awesome sandwiches, and other food. I'll buy too."
